hardcoretitle

Changes are on the horizon in this episode of the Triple ThreatCast. The Rock find himself out as the number 1 contender for the WWF title, while Vince creates a whole new title just for Mankind while also punishing the Stooges to try and get them to change their lackadaisical ways. Also, Marissa makes a special podcast announcement. All that and much more on episode 39 of the Triple ThreatCast.

Monday Night Raw #283, October 26th, 1998

On this edition of the Triple ThreatCast, Mel has hopped the metaphorical bus on the Road to WrestleMania as she enjoyed last week’s Royal Rumble, and she does a first for her Sixpack Shoutout after 37 previous episodes! Marissa is not a fan of the randomness of the matches for our Attitude Era Raw or of Sable’s mic skills. Finally, Kevin is confused as to why an I Quit match did not end with somebody saying those words… All that and so much more on episode 38 of the Triple ThreatCast!

On this edition of the Triple ThreatCast, we throw out a few possibilities for surprise Royal Rumble entrants and back on our Attitude Era Raw, a day after being fired Austin’s all about that hunting lifestyle and declares it to be McMahon season. Speaking of Vince, he also announces that we will finally crown a new WWF champion for realz at the Survivor Series which will feature a 16-man tournament. All that plus a special treat for those of you that wish to listen through the end theme music of the show on episode 37 of the Triple ThreatCast!

Monday Night Raw #281, October 12th, 1998

corvetteOn this edition of the Triple ThreatCast, Vince’s Corvette collection takes a loss, Billy and Road Dogg have apparently made up and put their discrepancies behind them and in super breaking news, Triple H has been stripped of the Intercontinental title due to being all injured and whatnot so we have a full-fledged 7 match tournament to decide the new champ all on this show! Plus, Vince brings in a familiar face from WCW (as well as WWF past) to be his new enforcer. All that as well as Marissa and Mel’s predictions for the upcoming Judgment Day PPV on episode 35 of the Triple ThreatCast!

The Triple ThreatCast is back after a week off for the holiday and in this episode Vince is in the hospital, but he gets some great visitors. Billy Gunn is still absent from D-X but Road Dogg brought along Mrs. Ass instead (luckily, not in the Val Venis sense), and Undertaker and Kane do not seem to be getting along very well leading in to their title match at Judgment Day, sibling rivalry and whatnot… All that and much more on Episode 34 of the Triple ThreatCast!

Monday Night Raw #279, September 28th, 1998

vince279On this edition of the Triple ThreatCast, friend of the show Josh gets the hot tag to come in for Mel this week. We look at the fallout from the Breakdown PPV, including Steve Austin wanting to get fast revenge on Vince McMahon by stealing the leisurely-paced ice resurfacer (turns out Zamboni is a brand name…who knew?), Chyna gets served by Mark Henry, which sadly doesn’t include some sick dance moves, and does Terri ever find her missing earrings? All that and much, much more on episode 33 of the Triple ThreatCast, now with retsyn!

Monday Night Raw #278, September 21st, 1998

VinceRockMankindShamOn this edition of the Triple ThreatCast, we return after a one week absence as Marissa returns from her trip abroad to see Mel in Australia! Mass confusion as the episode begins and we find out that the parts of JR and the King will be played by Shane O’Mac and Jim Cornette! Also, Mel learns about the XFL, which we are still a couple of years away from in the watch through, but has been resurrected in the present day; Al Snow may never make Marissa’s six-pack shoutout, but might he make her top 3 for the first time? And Kevin talks way too much about Andy Kaufman. All that, plus your email (this does not apply if your name is not Brian) on episode 31 of the Triple ThreatCast!

Monday Night Raw #277, September 14th, 1998

shamrock austinOn this edition of the Triple ThreatCast, the two best co-hosts in the world are both a half a world away as Marissa has joined Mel in Australia! Meanwhile, we are finally back to Raws on Monday Nights instead of the lame Raw Saturday Nights of the last couple of weeks and it’s a big show. First, Mankind returns and brings a friend (or, a sledgehammer, at least), Mark Henry demands to be double teamed by Chyna and…X-Pac? Finally, Shamrock gets a title shot against Stone Cold. All that, katanas, pirate metal, and a total lack of emails on episode 30 of the Triple ThreatCast!

Monday Night Raw #276, September 12th, 1998

AlSnowOn this edition of the Triple ThreatCast the WWF throws together a house show and slaps the Raw name on it. Also, Kevin can’t do episode numbers correctly, Marissa admits that a childhood bullying incident has left her with a deep-seeded fear of rat tails, and Mel learns that the Insane Clown Posse have no idea how magnets work. All that plus at least one email from a loyal listener on episode 29 of the Triple ThreatCast!

Monday Night Raw #275, September 5th, 1998

TakerandKaneOn this edition of the Triple ThreatCast Marissa took the “go home” episode of Raw we covered a few weeks ago literally and got herself an actual home. Also, everybody is sick this week but we gut it out for our fans, like Triple H with a torn pectoral muscle…exactly like that. On this Raw the Brothers of Destruction are apparently bored at not being booked and take matters into their own hands, D-Lo leaves the Rock to take a beating, and Tiger Ali Singh’s servant, Babu, lets his love for sardines start affecting his work. All that and more, plus a severe lack of emails make this a more snack-sized episode 28 of the Triple ThreatCast!
